Past Presidents' Committee


The Immediate Past President shall serve as Chair of the Past Presidents’ Committee.  The Past Presidents’ Committee shall meet as necessary to work on projects and to prepare advisory opinions as requested by the Board of Directors.  Past presidents who have maintained regular membership status are qualified to be members of the Past Presidents’ Committee.

 

The Past Presidents’ committee will establish a subcommittee that is responsible for review of conference site contracts.  This group will assist the President-Elect by making recommendations on contract content ensuring that contracts include appropriate clauses and address MAACM needs.


The Immediate Past President shall serve as Chair of the Nominating Committee. The Immediate Past President with the approval of the Board of Directors will appoint not fewer than four (4) members of the Association to serve on the Nominating Committee. This Committee shall consider all nominations and make a selection no later than 30 days prior to the annual conference. The Past Presidents’ Committee shall consider nominations for the John Neufeld Award as delineated below:

 The Past Presidents' Committee:

  1. will adhere to the eligibility/criteria delineated in Section VII (Awards) of this Operations Manual; and

  2. shall consider all nominations and make a selection no later than 30 days prior to the annual conference.
