Membership Types

General Member
Open to anyone currently employed by a judiciary or court-related organization, General Members enjoy the full benefits of membership. Membership is granted upon the submission of an application and payment of annual dues.

Student Member
Designed for full-time students enrolled in degree programs related to court administration, business administration, public administration, law, criminal justice, or other relevant fields. Student Members receive full benefits of membership but cannot hold positions on the Board of Directors or Advisory Board. Membership is conferred upon submission of an application, proof of enrollment, and payment of reduced annual dues.

Emeritus Member
This category is for former General Members of MAACM who wish to continue their membership after retirement or resignation from their court positions. Emeritus Membership must be approved by the Board of Directors and offers full benefits, excluding positions on the Board or Advisory Board. To join, applicants must submit an application, pay annual dues (equal to General Membership dues), and receive Board approval.

Friend of the Courts
This category includes individuals, firms, or corporations interested in supporting MAACM's goals, such as vendors or consultants. Friends of the Courts receive reduced rates for conferences but do not have full membership benefits (e.g., access to the members-only area of the MAACM website, the ability to hold Board positions, or voting rights). Membership is conferred upon application submission, payment of annual dues (equal to General Membership dues), and approval by the Board of Directors.

Dual Member
MAACM has established dual membership agreements with the National Association for Court Management (NACM), the Pennsylvania Association for Court Management (PACM), and the Association of Clerks of the District Courts of Virginia (ACDCV). These agreements aim to enhance professional development for court management professionals. Members who join or renew with NACM, PACM, or ACDCV will receive discounted dues for MAACM membership.

The membership year aligns with the calendar year, running from January 1 through December 31.

Organizational Membership
MAACM offers a flexible membership option for organizations that qualify for general membership. This allows organizations to apply the benefits of general membership to up to three employees. Membership is conferred upon the submission of an application and payment of annual dues. Memberships are purchased in bulk, and organizations must designate specific individuals to hold the membership slots for the calendar year. Additional memberships can be purchased to include more individuals.
